dIUI: CD 7 U/S #2 (updated)

Mr. Jem and I arrived at the clinic bright an early for my 7:15 a.m. ultrasound. This time we had the head u/s tech, a woman with grey hair and a kind smile. Follicles are progressing nicely: On the right side she measured 13 big ones, ranging from 9-13mm. Left side had less: 5 follies between 8-11mm.

Saw IUI Nurse S - she's such a sweetie! She thought we'd have our IUI over the weekend, Monday at the latest. Given my crazy work schedule, I'm praying for a Sunday IUI, so I can just go home and rest and have a relaxed day.

Oh, and I had my blood drawn, too. My Estradiol (E2) was 366 on Aug 2, so I wonder what it will be today when they call back.

I'm scheduled for another ultrasound tomorrow. Must be getting close, then!

~Jem

Update: The clinic called: I'm to reduce dose by half to 75 IU of Folli.stim and come back for more monitoring tomorrow (Friday). My Estradiol (E2) is 866 today, up 500! Dr. W also said I will probably trigger tomorrow night with the insemination happening on Sunday.

Yippee! All systems go!

Sounds exciting! I liked reading your last post about how you selected your donor. I think it's an interesting process. I just know this will work for you : )

Keep chugging along! I hope you get to have your IUI on Sunday, too. It would be perfect timing as far as work goes. Keep the updates coming.
