Trigger pushed back...

A nurse from my clinic just called. I'm not triggering tonight. Will go in for more monitoring in tomorrow morning.

Estradriol = 2,411
Progesterone = 0.980

I was feeling comfortable all weekend, but being back at my desk at work, sitting in my office chair all day, I'm suddenly very uncomfortable and can feel my abdomen and the swollen follies.

I'm a bit pissed disappointed not to be triggering tonight. I want to move forward with this already!!!!

Yuck. I'm sorry you have to wait another day. I hope this just means those follies will be extra ripe when they are retrieved!

Fingers crossed for another great appointment tomorrow.

I know you're disappointed. Just take this extra day to visualize the follies growing to where they need to be for a successful retrieval!

I know how you feel. I remember during my IVF I felt like my ovaries were sloshing around in my body like huge water balloons. Hang in there!

Bummer about having to wait an extra day, BUT hopefully you'll get a crop with lots of mature eggs as a result. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Take care.

I know you are disappointed, but I am looking at all those follies just waiting to catch up to the lead! YOu are going to have an awesome retrieval!

Um, I don't want to upset you, but I wonder if you may not even go until Wednesday to trigger? If they grow 2mm a day, it could happen. That would possibly make your lead follies 20 and could give lots of extra catch up time to the trailing follies.

I am so excited for you!

Okay I've been thinking about this some more. I checked my notes on progesteronein my cycles. I think you have to trigger if your progesterone gets to 1.5 or higher. If you remain under 1.5, you can continue to stim...

I'll shut up now.

Good luck today! I bet you'll see quite a few of those smaller guys catching up today. Slow and steady...you are doing great. And it is looking like you will have a lot of mature eggs at your ER. I know it's disappointing, but letting the smaller ones grow and mature is the best thing for you right now. Fingers crossed that everything is staying on track!

Good luck this morning with your monitoring appointment... I hope you get to trigger soon b/c looking at your last post, you are bustin' out all over with follies! Thanks for commenting on my blog as well - it can be hard to come out of the IF closet, but if you've got outlets like your blog or your dental hygienest, it helps to :)

Happy commenting this week! And best of luck with this cycle! ^_^
