Urggh

Home sick today. My stomach is still a mess, what with the pain of recovering from ER plus um, excuse my TMI, constipation. Severe constipation. It's like I have a brick in my gut. I've had to force myself to eat, and if you know me, you'd know it's not how I am. Usually I love to eat, have a great appetite and am quite regular.

Ugg.

I slept most of the day and am off to my guitar lesson. I'll be back at work tomorrow. Actually, it was my boss who suggested I take today off to recover, rather than working from home. How's that for support?

Tonight is our first Progesterone in Oil (ethyl oleate) shot. Wish us luck.

Good luck! Sometimes a day off is the best medicine! Hope a guitar lesson helps get rid of the blues!

Giiirrl, I could talk your ear off about some constipation. No worries about TMI from me. ;) (I swear by some PlumSmart juice!)

Glad you were able to take a break from work today! Hope you feel better soon, Jem!

Do you take fiber? I have chronic constipation problems, even before fertility treatments started. I finally found the Benefiber powder and it helps a lot. I make a pitcher of Crystal Light and dump a bunch in there and I don't even notice it, or I put some in with my Carnation instant breakfast in the morning. It's worth it!

making progress! hope you're feeling better after your day off. good luck with the PIO shots since they make constipation even worse (just deal with it before it causes an ER visit...not fun!!)

I hope your tum is better. Hormones + anesthesia = a really terrible time for the body's digestive workings.

I was just complaining to my husband about this last night! "Umm...I don't think I have OHSS, but uh, things...aren't exactly moving." I've never had this problem and have no idea what to do!! Ex lax? Sounds like your commenters swear by Miralx. I was thinking of calling my nurse. She loves me, yes indeedy.
