Licking my wounds

Just a quick update to let you all know that I'm doing okay, haven't thrown myself off the Golden.Gate bridge or anything dramatic. Still sad about Fluffy, of course.

Today is CD 19. Been using the Clear.Blue.Easy "O" predictor machiney-thing this month and it said my high fertility period started CD 14 and peak time was CD 17 & 18. Mr. Jem and I did the obligatory BD (baby dance) on CD 15 & 18. Not much hope that it will work with his low sperm count, but you never know.

Other than that, been concentrating on work, which is good. Our whole team is going together to a baseball game today at noon. Should be fun.

The question is: should I have a beer, or not?

I always go with the rule that one drink is pretty safe before implantation. But, that's not so much medical and making sure I don't go nuts (since this whole TTC thing has gone of for years now). (Unless you have a sensitivity to gluten or other grains, in which case your body could trigger an immune reaction...but if you've never had any problems before, you're probably good!)
Hope you have a good time - sounds like a lot of fun :).

I meant "not so much for medical reasons, as making sure I don't go nuts".
Bad typing skills today :).

I'm in the have the beer camp. When I realized that our chances without help were practically nil, I stopped worrying aboutb it so much. The truth is that a beer (or a couple) during the 2ww for a miricle baby, if you do get pg, isn't going to be the end of the world, and why keep putting your life on hold?

I was blog hopping and came across your blog. I first want to say that I am so sorry for your loss. I have a dog who is my everything and I tear up every time I think that one day I am going to have to say good bye.

I just started my blog. It is for helping others as well as myself "keep the hope" during this long and painful process. I would love for you to stop by and give you some input.

One drink doesn't hurt. I am willing to bet our mothers all drank, and here we are! Which makes me want a glass of the wine in the fridge...sigh.

Have a beer. Or two. It won't hurt anything, and may even do some good. Enjoy!!

Yes. Have the beer. Definitely. (Looks like I'm too late since you've already been to the baseball game by now, but FWIW that's my opinion.)

So sorry about Fluffy.
