After chugging Gator.ade and eating super salty foods, my OHSS has calmed way down. My weight is still 4 lbs over where I was a week ago, but I think it's from all the calories I'm consuming and the fact that I'm burning almost no calories as I'm relaxing.
That's the happy part.
Here's the paranoid part: My OHSS has calmed down. Does that mean I'm not pregnant and I don't have the KU hormones?
I did have acupuncture yesterday and she said she put in needles to help eliminate the extra water. Mr. Jem and I are doing Moxa to help the blood flow into my uterus.
Have to remember to keep breathing.
Deep breath.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
My fingers are crossed that this one is the one for you!!!
xx
It's such a roller coaster. I'm right there with you. Hmm, maybe this worked, no, it didn't. Oh but maybe, just maybe this is our cycle, no couldn't be so easy. These are the thoughts running through my mind every few seconds. ARGH!
Thinking of you. Deep breaths, deep breaths :)
Please don't read anything into your feeling better!
My guess is that hormones don't just evaporate even if you aren't pregnant. They are like a cold, even after you aren't running a fever you still have the symptoms....
but what do I know?
Good luck!! I'm glad you are feeling better, and I wouldn't worry about feeling better -- it's just so hard not to read something into everything.
It sounds like you're doing all the right things to make sure you are well - the fact that you're feeling better is great for you AND baby. I have given up on the idea of early symptoms myself and have decided that I am not going to have them within two weeks of conception, so I will try not to think about them (easier said than done, I know!). Keep the faith, my friend. I am hoping beyond hope that this is it for you!
Love,
Maddy
I'm glad your OHSS has calmed. I'm drinking lots of gatorade too (yellow is actually tolerable to me -- what color have you been drinking?) and gross tomato juice. I would try not to read into it too much. Good luck!
No way does your OHSS vanishing mean you aren't pregnant. Don't even worry about that. OHSS is BAD symptoms- you're not supposed to have that or else they wouldn't try so hard to avoid it. Now it's even better for your pregnancy because the OHSS is gone!
Symptom reading during the 2ww is impossible to avoid, but try your darndest! I had no symptoms at all when I got a BFP.
So glad your OHSS has died down! Sorry about the weight gain- it is already happening to me and I'm not quite to ER yet :( Oh well. GOOD LUCK!!
Hope you are feeling MUCH better and congratulations on the transfer of those beautiful beginnings!
take care,
Kate
Glad to know the OHSS symptoms are coming down. I was pretty bloated and pained and felt like I had softballs for ovaries after ER/ET. It took about a week, but the most uncomfortable symptoms went away after about 1-2 weeks, so this is normal and I did get a good positive result. Don't try to read too much into it and just keep all the happy endorphins flowing to those embies trying to nuzzle in.
