We are going to see Dr. W tomorrow (instead of next week). Kind of excited to get this over with. Both Mr. Jem and I are NOT excited about going back to the clinic and are considering going elsewhere for future ART procedures.
In cycle news, it's CD8 and my "O" monitor had me POAS this morning. It's sad but I just sent and Out.look calendar invite to Mr. Jem for CD14 so it would be on his calendar at home so I don't get the "I don't know when you ovulate!" argument this month. Sigh. Who would have thought I'd be sending a meeting request to my husband to do the deed. Pathetic!
On a happier note, I joined up with a local Resolve group in the SF East Bay. Five of us from the group got together last Saturday and a had a hypno.therapist come do a guided meditation/relaxation exercise. She specializes in fertility. The idea is to eliminate the stress in your life to increase your chance of conceiving! Boy did I feel relaxed and good afterwards. I definitely recommend it.

Oh my, you just brought back memories! I used to send J outlook meeting requests but instead of O they just said "It" as in do it because I never had any idea when I would O during at 60-70 day cycle. You aren't alone sweetie. Glad you were able to relax at your meeting!
Awww, I post "O" on my shared google calendar. Thanks, technology, for making this process so romantic! Go you for joining the Resolve group.
YAY for "sexy time" on your calendar :) and the hypnotherapy session sounds awesome!
I'm wondering which clinic you are at. My guess is uni.versity. I'll ping you offline to ask questions if you don't mind. I'm on the peninsula and thinking heavily about ivf in sf.
Also hate the preprogrammed lovin. Sigh.
When we were at that point, hubby HATED having to plan. Now we are waiting for the go ahead to be allowed to have fun again! Hypnotherapy sounds fantastic!
Good luck tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you!
Good luck at your appointment tomorrow! If we ever decided to do IVF again (which we won't) we would also be choosing another clinic. And your calendar things reminds me of one time I sent DH a message over google chat that we were having sexy time that night. My stepdad happened to be standing right behind him when it popped up. (They work together). Not embarassing at all.

I'm glad you guys will get some clarity on what occurred during Round #2... but being told that you are on the "wrong side of the statistics" is beyond frustrating. Keep us posted!
Scheduled sex is so un-fun. I send out calendar invites for the important times. Yay for technology making sex so unsexy. But at least your body is doing its thing as it should.
Isn't there a better way - maybe instead of scheduling it as "O" you and Mr. Jem can make a special dinner reservation or rent a romantic movie (well, that would get Mr. Poppet OUT of the mood, but maybe something romantic like the first movie you saw together or something).
Or maybe a hotel reservation if you're feeling a little flush with cash????
At least all of cyberspace knows what you'll be doing next week - wink, nudge!
:-)
Wow, good for you for contacting Resolve. I haven't been brave enough to talk to many real-life people about this...
Regarding the Outlook invitation, I actually think that could be kind of hot, if you do it right... :-)
Awww... I hear ya on the Outlook appointment thing. That "I had no idea!" argument is NOT fun. Soon it'll all be in your rear view mirror. :)
Nice, you've got the bedroom time booked. Good work!
I'll be thinking of you in today's consult. We had to make the hard decision of switching from one clinic to another. My hubs was SO reluctant to do it, but sometimes you know in your gut that you could be getting better treatment elsewhere. I hope this consult help
BJ and I just had the "appointment" talk last night. We both wanted to do the deed but decided to wait until today to see if I got a positive on my opk. But we DID say that we are doing it tonight no matter what...so fingers crossed. And good luck to you at your appointment. A change of scenery might be just what you guys need to get your BFP.
