Stopping the Yangtze_River

Well, my nine-day flow of sludge, what I affectionately called the Yangtze_River, has finally stopped.

It's officially cycle day 10. Let's see if we can make a baby the old fashioned way (ha!) while on our break from ART until after May 20.

That's the only news.

Funny analogy! Good luck!! I know, I have to laugh when I think - ok, my husband and I will try naturally for the next couple of months because I'm not emotionally ready for a next treatment. Ha! I've long gotten over the hope of a 2ww in a trying naturally situation!! Sad, but true!

Taking a break is really helping me out, menally. I get flows like that sometimes, too. It's really weird I will have to ask the doc about it.

Although the old fashioned kind of baby making feels much MUCH better than ART, the name just doesn't do it justice anymore for us :S

Wait, people still have babies the good old fashioned way? Say what? ;) Good riddance to the Yangtze! Lots of luck to you! May will be here sooner than you think.

Congratulations!!! Back to 'normal'! :)
We dutifully waited the 3 recommended months after the MTX shot-- do you have info from your doctor on why you don't need to? Just curious...

Thank goodness the sludge has stopped! I had to laugh at your description!!
I hope the old fashioned way works for you, but at the very least it's a whole lot more fun than ART. Fun isn't bad, and we don't get a lot of it while we are in the middle of ART so you are right ot make the most of it!!!
