Hello heartburn!

Not only can I only eat 60% of what I could previously, but now each of my feedings is followed by what feels like a heart attack, painful sensation above my heart, or heartburn.

First hemorrhoids, now this! Oh, fun! (not that I'm complaining!!)

I feel your pain. Daily heartburn for 21 weeks now here.

Oh, and the hemorrhoids? Until about 22 weeks, I only had two. Several more have now come to join them.

Good times. . . . ;-)

Check with your doctor, but mine let me take Zantac and it changed my life.

I know it was back in the olden days, but I could take as much tums as I wanted. I had tums EVERYWHERE. Ever drawer, every pocket, next to my bed. Didn't matter what I ate (or not).

they say it means the baby will have lots of hair. Was true for me....

that sucks!! the only thing that helped me (mind you mine wasn't so much heart burn but on all over stomach to neck burn) was to go for walks - litterally at 3 am sometimes with my husband. I would walk off the burn, drink a ton of gatorade and then sleep on an incline. It will all be worth it as you know.

heartburn is so annoying! ick ick. i'm 23 weeks and it has become a much more frequent visitor. sigh. the only things that help for me are cold milk and tums.

I too have Tums stashed around my house. My OB is fine with it--babies can use the calcium anyway.

I had that in my first tri, and again now with the heart attack-like symptoms. In addition to the Tums at the ready, I take a Costco-brand heartburn prevention pill that pretty much keeps it away.

I'm pretty sure I'll have that other symptom until.. May.
