Welcome back! I'm super sorry to hear about the results of the tests, but on the upside, at least you know that all bases are covered and can be treated for what was identified as a problem. That's why I pushed for the whole battery of tests, too.
Me? I'd start now. But you appear to be much more patient and low key. Do what your gut says -- it is usually right. And good luck!
You're being too hard on yourself! I say take a deep breath and enjoy November. One month off is not six. You should feel 150% ready to move forward, so don't beat yourself up if you're not there yet. But I can't wait to cheer you on once you are. =)
Hey Jem, is Dr. Z the Dr. Z in Foster City (used to be in Daly City), by chance? He was my first IVF doc back in '08. Just curious... maybe you've seen him before but if not and you'd like some info, please feel free to contact me.
I'm in the middle of a DE cycle right now with another RE, and you know what? If I had it to do over I'd wait til after the holidays. It just really complicates your plans.
I just went back and read my comment and realized it sounded kinda uppity, like "how dare this IVF interfere with my holiday plans!" I didn't quite mean it like that...

It sounds like you want to wait a month. And that post is hysterical :)
That blog post was hilarious. I posted it to my facebook. To a super-filtered list obviously, but posted it nonetheless.
And it sounds like you're wanting to wait a month, but if it were me, I would get on the ball.

You are totally NOT a chicken.

It's a phone call - this new doc seems miles ahead of the old one. You will be very happy you called, once you get started.
LOVE the new background! It's gorgeous.
Oh gosh, you're cycling with the one I call Dr. Moustache. :-)
He was my first...and he fired me after two IVFs and one FET. Like WannabeMommy, feel free to contact me as well.
Ha! We should start a Dr. Z/Moustache club!
