My post-IVF cycle was a perfect 28-day cycle. Yippee!
Now it's CD 2. Is it worth trying naturally, even if Mr. Jem's got no swimmers? This weekend the two of us will sit down and figure out what our next steps will be. Do we continue treatment? dIUI? Save up for another IVF? Or should we "just adopt" (ha!)?
Lot's to talk about.

Lots to talk about indeed. Good luck x
Big decisions... your heart will tell you the right answer for you xoxo
I hope you figure out your path quickly and easily :) In the meantime, you mine as well try on your own...but stress-free trying!!
Ain't nuttin' to lose with trying something.
Got a new perspective on adoption. As you know, I've always been very pro... maybe even pushy. Recently spoke with a Mom of an adopted guy (he's 25, they adopted at birth) who had a very hard time in his teens when he had to face his own questions of identity. Guess it isn't always that simple to be adopted or to adopt. And we all know it sucks to be a teen, no matter how you grow up. The mom still had no regrets in adopting, but she felt it was a significantly harder path than she would have guessed.
Sjoe big decisions ahead of you guys. Want to wish you all the very best at making a decision that feels right for the two of you. There are no easy answers here, but the more you talk to each other the closer you will get to finding a way forward.

Good luck trying to figure out your next steps!
In the meantime, I don't think there's any harm in trying the old-fashioned way :).
It's like there are too many and too few options all at once. You can "just" do a lot of things, but none of them are "just" that simple. Thinking of you.
Definitely a lot of tough choices in front of you. I would say enjoy doing some old fashioned BD'ing this month while you consider all options :) Good luck, sweetie.
That's great about the perfect 28-day cycle. I like to think - in those circumstances - that it's the body's incredible resilience kicking in (even if it takes head and heart a while to catch up).
As far as giving it a go this month: I'm going to spare you the "it only takes one" line because it's been fed to me on more occasions than I choose to remember. But...
